There are quite a lot of people who just love dancing. Most dancers love using modern dance moves when they are on the dance floor. One good reason for this is that with modern dancing it gives the dancer a chance to express his or her emotions in a more natural way. The modern dance moves are so very popular and known as the best among every dance lover.

Modern dancing has some basic moves that will distinguish itself from several other types of dancing forms. Some of these moves include a persons feet to be kept parallel to one another along with the arms making certain angles. There are some names for the moves in regard to modern dancing, such as the side twist, curl and then up and also the chase. These types of moves are the ones that are always taught to the beginners while attending dance classes.

Some other modern dance movements for a beginner are standing straight with both of the feet parallel to one another and keep the arms down at the sides of the body. Look down at the feet then curl the spins over a bit. Now do it slowly and do not collapse down at the waist line. After you are half way near to the ground then bend The knees and just continue curling the spine. This is move one and it is a good idea for the beginner to work on this slowly while practicing.

Now for move two you must sit on the floor with one of the leg towards the groin by bending the knee. Now you will place the other leg in a cross over while keeping the foot flat onto the floor. Slowly raise both arms to the height of the shoulder then left the body from the waist. Then twist the one arm that is opposite from the knee that is crossed over and then turn the torso. Now grasp the on the outside of the knee that is crossed over.

Take the opposite arm from it for grasping. Now start to move the other arm and let it flow to the lower portion of the back. Pull the arm right in front so to be able to twist it even more further. Then just hold onto the position for a least four seconds then after that come back very slowly to your starting position again. This type of dance move is counted as a basic modern dance move known as the side twist.
